This roof was a standing seam tin roof that was over 50 years old. The previous coating that was used on the roof was red Tin-O-Lin that had begun to flake and started to expose the raw tin underneath. The roof was leaking in multiple places due to this.
The crew removed the entire roof deck and then prepared the roof by pressure washing all the grime and dirt away. This ensured that the primer for the hydro stop system would be put down a clean surface. The crew then applied the hydro stop system. The main challenge on this project was the large amount of duct work that was necessary to work around. In the end, it wasn't anything that our experienced crew couldn't handle.
