During a bad storm, the roof on the rear addition of the home blew off and was laying on the back of the roof. Maggio Roofing rushed to place a temporary cover on the roof while we worked with the customer and their insurance provider so that no further damage or discomfort was caused in the meantime. Once the claim was approved with their insurance, we installed a FiberTite roof to the rear addition of the home.
Squirrels were getting into the residence through the roof. Upon inspection, Maggio found that the squirrels made a couple of holes on the cedar shake siding on the third level. We removed the damaged cedar shake siding and replaced them, matching the shape and color of the siding.
The roof was having leaking issues in the addition caused by the improper installation of the wrong type of skylights by a previous contractor. The roof was also aging and in poor condition. Maggio replaced the entire roof and installed the correct kind of skylights allowing the customer to finally enjoy the addition.
Maggio responded to a call from the customer stating that a fairly new roof had some leaks. Upon inspection, we found that the pipe collars were wearing out. The roof is not new but still has a few years of life, so we replaced the damaged pipe collars.
This home's chimney was poorly sealed and was leaking. Shingles were also coming up around the water damaged area because of warping. To deflect water and keep a tight seal for leak prevention, we fabricated a copper cricket and flashing to install at the base of the chimney. All in a day's work for the experts at Maggio Roofing!
