The roof had two shingled slopes that came together which was causing leaking issues and issues with the building's gutter system. The shingles were incorrectly placed at the junction of the slopes as the slope of the roof was too low for shingle installation in that area. The gutters were also too small for the size of the roof which caused overflow when there was heavy rain or water to go right past the gutter system entirely.
We removed the shingles that were placed at the junction of the slopes in the low slope area and installed a FiberTite roof system. We also upgraded the gutters to a size which accommodated the size of the roof as well as added a drain to facilitate in the quicker discharge of water. Lastly, we added water and snow stoppers along the lower areas of the roof to slow down water before it hit the gutters, minimizing a build up and the chance of the water running over the gutters.
