A+ company from start to finish. We had a very challenging situation with our roofline and gutter support system. We worked directly with Jadolo Nelson and Edgar Ortega to identify the best solutions based on options proposed. When the project had to be delayed due to weather, Maggio went above and beyond by covering my 3rd story rowhouse gutter to be on the safe side/prevent any damage to the interior. the corrective work was done within the committed timeframe, the communication was clear and frequent and the updates look fantastic. I highly recommend Maggio Roofing without hesitation.

Very easy to get a hold of them by phone and schedule a quote. Even though they were booked a couple of weeks out, they called me when they had a schedule opening and came out sooner. Brian, who gave me the estimate, was very knowledgeable about both slate and shingle roofs, and I got a comprehensive estimate back same day. I like that they work locally and will call them again in the future!

It is a much-needed investment that will increase our home's overall value. The security that the roof provides from external elements is invaluable. I’ve been getting roofing estimates for about three weeks, and my meeting today with Will from Maggio really stood out. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and thorough. He walked me through both the interior and exterior issues, took a ton of photos, and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. I have a feeling their quote may end up being on the higher side, but Will did an excellent job showing exactly where that investment would go. I genuinely appreciated the transparency and the time he took to educate me. I’ll update this review if I decide to move forward with their bid. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a roofer, definitely give them a call and at least consider them. Bonus: my dog absolutely fell in love with Will and made a new best friend.

Seamless Roofing Experience with Stellar Communication and Coordination

I had a flat roof membrane replaced by Maggio. I have worked with a lot of contractors through the years. Where Maggio stood out above the rest was as follows: 1. Excellent, cohesive, clear, and timely communication from the entire team from sales to scheduling, operations, and on the ground. 2. Crew showed up on time as they said they would. 3. Foreman was present through much of the work and took ownership of the project. He was also knowledgeable and had significant experience and tenure with the company (thus knows his product and has seen it all). 4. Post installation follow up & accessibility. They sent me all pictures taken, made themselves available after project completion, stayed tuned in while the solar reinstallation contractor did their work. 5. Awareness of and adherence to rules and regulations: Permitting, licenses, parking, safety, etc. I didn't have to chase them for these. Some of the other contractors I got proposals from were surprised I asked for permits and some suggested I didn't need them. 6. Voluntarily provided credits for items that were on the contract but eventually not needed. 7. They worked well after sundown to keep the project on schedule. This was surprising to me. This project needed to be coordinated with the solar company as there was a solar uninstall/reinstall dependency. Short of running with it and dealing with the solar company directly themselves (which I had some hope for), they were very well coordinated with my facilitation. Requiring my facilitation was understandable however and not onerous as the solar contractor was also reasonably responsive. I liked Maggio's experience, manpower, and capabilities which gave me confidence in the end product. That being said, as with any roofing project/vendor, whether and how the workmanship and material will hold up to the 20 year warranty is to be seen. I trust they will do better than most. If I run into issues, I will update accordingly. I do recommend them for roofing jobs if you are looking for a peace-of-mind level project implementation as better than anyone else I am aware of in the DMV area.

Completing a comprehensive roof repair project was a daunting experience, especially as a consumer who was navigating this issue for the very first time. We felt that Maggio gave us a fair and thorough assessment of the issues we were facing, given the state of our roof. The work was delayed quite some time due to conditions that were arguably out of their control, but they were responsive to our follow up and completed the project in a quick and efficient manner. We faced complicated issues during the tear-off and replacement and we felt that Maggio responded to difficult developments as well as they could have. Our new roof looks great and we are very happy with the skylight replacements as well. Antonio and Dan (project supervisors) were very personable in our opinion, and they took the time with us to ensure we understood issues at each step and felt comfortable with precarious decisions that they needed to make. Overall, would recommend.

While not the least expensive, the product, installation expertise, and personalized service you receive is second to none. Antonio, and Louis made sure that we were happy to the very end. They are fantastic craftsmen. Katherine, Edgar, Jack and all the office personnel were very accommodating. Weather will always be an issue, and was in our case, but they worked diligently and produced a wonderful product. I highly recommend Maggio for all your roofing needs!
